Art Deco dress up day

Jack, Adam and Demetry are sitting in the olden day car. Jack shared that his braces keep his pants up!!
Jay and Shayden are wearing braces too just like the boys used to wear. Cooper looks flash in his bow tie and hat.

Wow look at Kayden, Logan and Tamati. They loved the old car. Thanks Mrs Sullivan for bringing it to school.

All the girls love wearing their headbands. Feathers in the headbands made them special. It was fun learning about how the people used to dress.

Choosing Whisper phones

Ruhi and Jayna-May chose reading on the whisper phones. Well done girls!! The more you read, the better you get.

Spring Table

Our Spring Table is looking very colourful with all of our lovely daffodils.Thank you to Pippa, Greer and Bella who all went to Waipuk to pick them in the weekend. Our bean seed now has a shoot popping out. We can see it so well with our magnifying glass. Our celery stem and leaves have turned blue and this shows that plants need water to survive. Hayley bought a lovely lamb photo. Lambs love to skip and dance in the sunshine.

Kevin the Robot

So many children have enjoyed demolishing old phones using screwdrivers and scissors. We have talked about all the bits that make up a phone, especially the circuit boards and wires. We then glued all the bits together to make Kevin the Robot. Watch this space for stories of his adventures.

Busy Children

Mrs Kelly decided to bake some scones this morning. Sinead, Priyanka and Greer were great helpers. They had to rub in the butter and then knead the dough.

Now Mrs Kelly cut the dough mixture in half and then in half again.
This made quarters. The dough was now in 4 pieces.

Xanthia and Pippa had to brush on the milk.

Pippa and Sophia were tidying up after baking. Great work girls!!
It was going to be the boys turn later on.

How many words can you write??

We built sky towers, bridges and tunnels to go on our road.
