Our Butterfly

It was so exciting yesterday. We came back from lunchtime and our butterfly had squeezed out of it's chrysalis. We watched him flutter his wings to dry them out. He didn't want to fly away when we took him outside during the afternoon so we took him back into our classroom. After school he flew out the window and disappeared. We are wondering where he is now!!

We are learning about how to care for plants.

Our grassheads have been growing so well because we made sure they had plenty of water and sunlight. We are also very proud of our kowhai seedlings. They are getting a little bit bigger each day.

Triathlon 2014

Last week we had our Kowhai  Triathlon at school. We all showed determination so that we could do our best. Well done Room 13 children that raced hard.
