Fun Day in Napier

Room 2 had a lovely day in Napier yesterday to celebrate all the hard work that they have done all year. Well done Room 2. 

WALA Algebra

Today the children in Room 2 were very clever at working out which numbers were equal or less than or greater than. Fabulous thinking Room 2.

Book Character Day

 Wow look at Room 2. They look fabulous all dressed up as their favourite characters.

 Mrs England and Christina were both Slinki Malinki!!

 Luke looks great as the Joker!  And Riley makes a beautiful Snow White.

 Emily and Maia have dressed up as their favourite characters. Can you guess who they are???

 Reuben dressed up as Cat in the Hat. He was lucky enough to get his name pulled out of the hat to win a prize. He got to go to the library and pick a book from the book fair to keep. Lucky Reuben.

Yah PJ day at school.

It was sooo great to be able to wear our PJs to school today. We got to make our own breakfast- the problem was to be able to get it back to the classroom without spilling it!! We loved eating breakfast with our classmates. We had to do our dishes too!!!

The Disco

On Friday I went to the Disco and I took Mason. I got some chips and a drink too.
I brot loles for Mason and me. My dad gave me some manny so I cood get a drink for him. He got cocacola. I got a orenge drink. It was fun at the Disco.

Finished Product- Baby Bears Cereal

Yah today we made up our favourite cereal recipe again and placed it into our special packets that we made. Most of us are going to eat it for breakfast tomorrow. YUM!

Tasting Recipe Number 1

Yesterday we tasted our first recipes of cereal for baby bear. Yum it was great. On Friday we will make up our second recipe and taste it. Then we need to choose our favourite one. We will then need to invent packets and a name for our cereal.

Puppet Theatres - Goldilocks and the Three Bears

We made puppet theatres illustrating the setting in the story. Next we made stick puppets of Goldilocks and the three bears. The best part was retelling the story and using the characters voice to make it more interesting. 

Here we are with our fabulous buddy class Room 11. Today we took photos of our buddies on the i pads, we read our books to them, we practised our words and we taught our buddies how to do an underarm throw. It was such a lot of fun. Thank you Mrs Miller and Room 11.
